  1. Installation and Update- top

    In your website Dashboard, choose Appearance / Themes. In Themes window, choose Add New.

    Click Upload link. Then click Choose File.

    Browse theme file in your purchase folder / ***-theme-install and choose the latest version only. Then click Install Now button.

    After Wordpress uploaded the theme, click Active link to active the theme

     

  2. Install Demo with ONE CLICK (optional) - top

    This step is only for testing website (if you want test this theme before apply to your main website). Don't apply this step to your main website.

    Login to your dashboard and access Appearance / Theme Options and choose Information tab. In this tab, click INSTALL DEMO / SAMPLE DATA button.

    Waiting until the theme finish the progress and everything done. That's pretty easy.

  3. Work with Customizer Important - top

    Access Appearance / Customize.

    1. Site Settings - top

      Site Settings tab options:

      • Tagline: input your site description here. Your tagline will be shown on header only when you checked Show Tagline in Header option.
      • Site Title: your site title will be shown if you did not upload Blog Logo Image
      • Favicon Image: upload your favicon image here to show icon in browser tab. Your image must be 16px*16px in size and only allow format: .png, .icon, .gif or .jpg
      • Blog Logo Image: upload your blog logo image to show it in header and in Brand widget of site. You can input any size of logo image, but recommend its width is not larger than 260px if you added 728px ads on the right side of header. If you did not upload any image for Blog Logo, the theme will display Site Title here.
      • Show Tagline in Header: check this option if you want to show tagline under your blog logo (blog title) in header.
      • Hide Top Social Icons: check this option if you want to hide top social icons on header.
      • Hide Top Search Box: check this option if you want to hide top search box on header. This option will not effect other search box in Search widget.
      • Enable Box Layout: check this option will enable box layout for your site. Image and color for body background will only effect outside of box.
    2. Navigation - top

      This is important setting of your site. You must assign menu for each Menu Location. The theme supported 3 menu locations: Top Menu, Main Menu and Footer Menu. You must create menus and assign them to these locations. You can read Wordpress Menu User Guide for more detail about working with menu.

      With demo data, you just need to assign similar with the above image. If you choose -- Select -- your menu at that location will be hidden.

    3. Static Front Page - top

      If you want to set a static page as home page, just check A static page option and then pick your page in Front page list. After selected that, your page will become home page.

    4. Custom Colors - top

      In Custom Colors tab, you can change Main Color (color of links, title), or change Main Nav Color for main menu header line. After change, you can click Default button to reset the color to default.

    5. Header and Body Background - top

      In Header Background tabs, you can pick color or upload image background for header. The options: Header Background Repeat, Header Background Position and Header Background Attachment only effect when you uploaded an image for Header Background Image option.

      The Body Background tabs is similar with Header Background tab, but only effect for body tag of your site. If you enaled box layout for your site. The Body background will effect outside of box only, when inside of box is always white.

    6. Fonts Settings- top

      The theme supported more than 80 Google Fonts and all System (built-in) fonts. You can easy change site font in Fonts tab. In this tab, change Emphasis Font for font family of titles, Body Font for the rest of content. You can also add your custom font by following Uploading Custom Fonts steps.

    7. Content Settings - top

      Content settings tab allow you hide Feature Image / Excerpt / Author Box in single article if you want.

      In case you you want hide related posts, just input 0.

      If you checked to Enable Lightbox, you must choose link to media when insert an image into post to apply lightbox effect on that image.

    After changed anything in Customizer, you need click Save & Publish to apply all settings to site.

  4. For basic knowledge about Wordpress menu, you can read at: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide

    First, you must have at least one menu. If you have no one, access Appearance / Menus then click creata a new menu link and input your menu name in Menu Name field, and then click Create Menu button.

    Now, example, you want to add a custom link to your menu, click to expand Links tab (on left sidebar), then input link url into URL field and link name into Link Text field and click Add to Menu button. You can also check into an option of Theme locations to choose location to display the menu. After do any changes with your menu, click Save Menu button to apply.

    This theme support 3 locations for menu: Top / Main / Footer, look below image for more detail

    Please mind, the Active Mega Menu only work with first level of menu item.

  5. Work with Widgets - top

    First, to access Widget, choose Appearance / Widgets. Then you will Delipress's Visual Widget Layout like below:

    The widgets with green header are Article Box widgets of Delipress, and the red ones are other widget of Delipress. Widgets without colorful header are default widgets of Wordpress.

    You just need to drag and drop widgets you want from left hand to Visual Widget Layout on right hand to build your design.

    With Main Sidebar, Small Sidebar and Big Sidebar, you can create your own sidebar by clicking on Add Custom *** Sidebar link on each column, then you can pick your custom sidebars in static pages or posts.

    Everytime you change any thing of a widget, you must click Save button on that widget to apply your new settings.

     

  6. Add post review rating - top

    When you create (or edit) a post, just scroll to under post content editor, you will see Post Rating Review box. This box is used to add review to your post.

    In the box, select your rating type in Is product review? dropdown. Then input your feature names and values. You can delete each feature by clicking on Delete button of that feature and clicking Add new feature button to add a new one. Enter Reviewer Summary for your description about the review.

  7. Work with page / post settings - top

    When you create (or edit) a post / page, just scroll to under post content editor, you will see Post Settings box. This box is used to choose specific custom sidebar for your post / page. Read here for more detail. This setting will help you have many different sidebar for pages / posts and also the way to make your site have multiple layouts or multiple home designs. After pick your sidebar, if you want to set your page as home page, you can read this.

  8. Work with theme options - top

    Delipress supports many theme options and still improving. To access theme option, choose Appearance / Theme Options.

    1. Information - top

      Access Appearance / Theme Options / Information. This tab is used to display basic information about the theme. You can click READ THEME DOCUMENTATION button to read theme guides online and click readme.txt button to know about our license / release notes / and our future inprovements.

       

    2. Social Links - top

      Access Appearance / Theme Options / Ads Settings, then input your ads code into the place you want.

       

    3. Translate - top

      Access Appearance / Theme Options / Translate. You will see the default texts on left column and you just input your translated texts on right column (if need) then click Save Translated Texts button to apply. That's easy and no need any plugins. This translate is better than localization plugins because you no need re-translate again when you update the theme.

    4. Custom Codes - top

      Access Appearance / Theme Options / Custom Codes. This tab is used to add advance CSS / Javascript or HTML into your site without modify theme files. This way is better modifying theme files directly because your changes still be kept when you update the theme.

       

    5. Sidebar - top

      Access Appearance / Theme Options / Sidebars. This tab is used to set global sidebar options. The priority of these sidebar settings is higher than page / post sidebar settings.

       

  9. Add shortcode to post - top

    When you edit a page or post, in Visual mode, you will see some red icons in editor bar. In this version of theme, we supported only one shortcode, that's contact shortcode come with red email icon in editor bar. Just click icon of short code to insert our shortcode to your content.

    • insert contact form. When a visitor send contact, Wordpress will email to admin email.
    • insert team list. When show team list, a page will auto show sidebar.
    • allow you select a character then click this button to make drop cap for it.
    • select a text then click this button to highlight it.
    • to input a CSS3 button to your content (example: buy now, download, demo, ...).
    • create a tab content.
    • create an accordion content.

    In case you want to disable captcha for contact form shortcode, you can add option nocaptcha="true" to the shortcode, example:

  10. Enable Google Authorship - top

    Google Authorship is mean Google will show your avatar and Google+ Profile URL in their Search Results. To enable this feature in Delipress:

    1. Input your Google+ URL in your profile page (common placed at: yourdomain/wp-admin/profile.php).
    2. Edit the Contributor To section.
    3. In the dialog that appears, click Add custom link, and then enter your website URL.
    4. Click Save.

  11. Upload Custom Fonts - top

    Access Media / Add New, click Select Files

    Then choose your font file on your pc hard disk.

    We support below font file extensions:

    After uploaded your font, back to customizer:


    In Color, Fonts, Background section, in a font settings box, (example with EMPHASIS Font (for title settings)). Scroll to the end of font box, you will see your Uploaded Fonts is showing there. Now, choose a font you like and click Save & Publish button to apply.
